This is PART 3 of a wedding of grand proportions - A Grand Ceremony!
This is truly a grand wedding. We shared a bit of the rehearsal in Part 1 and Behind the Scenes & Backstage in Part 2. Now on to the GRAND CEREMONY. This portion of the day starts with bridal procession and ends with the family and formal bridal party photos. There’s lots of emotion, celebration and love wrapped inside the amazing Sacred Heart Cathedral.
A LITTLE GRATITUDE FOR THE WEDDING PROS
As with each blog post, I start by thanking all those who helped make their wedding day picture perfect. You've seen their names before and you'll see them again in the next blog post too. They are that important. These are the wedding professionals that did what they do best. Each one of them contributed to not just the success of the wedding, but also to the photos we captured. #teamworkmakesthedreamwork

After the bridesmaid’s photos (previous blog post), we wanted to get all the participants to a place to relax. This gives us time to capture their guests finding their seats. The cathedral is impressive and the guests enjoyed looking around. The bridal party was ready to go. The organ played as the grandparents filed in. Parents were next. Then the bridal procession began. The flower girls and ring boys again stole the show until Cassidy showed up!
The Bridal Procession
The organ paused. Then those eight notes, written in 1842, came out loud and proud! They always give me chills. The guests rise. The doors swung open. Cassidy and her father blew everyone away. Stunning! The cathedral aisle is over a hundred feet long so the bridal march lasts and lasts.
The Wedding Ceremony
Once at the alter, Mr Webster gave his daughter a long loving look and loving embrace. Father Meyer took charge and led the couple through the various readings associated with a Catholic wedding. He brought the bridal party up to surround the couple. The rings were exchanged.
Near the end of the ceremony, Cassidy & Tyler chose to present Mary with flowers. It’s nice touch as it gives the couple a tender moment. They are not alone, but they turn their backs to the guests and offer a prayer.
Once back on the altar, Father Meyer took the bride and groom through the last part of the vows. And gave us those famous words, “You may now kiss the bride!” The look of absolute joy on their faces is proof of the love they share.
The Wedding Recession
The wedding recession began. And in a matter of moments Mr and Mrs Hunsucker were out the door!!! Flowers up and ready to celebrate!
Guests headed to Club LeConte for the reception while the families stayed behind for photos with the couple. This is a very important part of the day as this is when family members get their own time with the couple.
Bridal party Photos
After family photos, we shoot the full bridal party. We shot some in the cathedral and some on the steps.
