This is PART 2 of a truly grand wedding - Behind the Scenes and backstage.
This is truly a grand wedding. We shared a bit of the rehearsal of this grand wedding in Part 1. Now on to Part 2 - Behind the Scenes and Backstage. This includes hair, makeup & fun all the way through groomsmen photos & bridesmaids photos with lots of details along the way.
A LITTLE GRATITUDE FOR THE WEDDING PROS
As with each blog post, I start by thanking all those who helped make their wedding day picture perfect. You've seen their names before and you'll see them again in the next 2 parts too. They are that important. These are the wedding professionals that did what they do best. Each one of them contributed to not just the success of the wedding, but also to the photos we captured. #teamworkmakesthedreamwork

Wedding Day Begins
The Wedding day began with hair, make up & fun for Cassidy & her girls! These are some of the warmest moments of the day. It hasn’t quite sunk in that the wedding is only a few hours away. We found Cassidy and her girls already moving through hair and make up. In case you’re wondering, these folks love UT and Rocky Top.
Hair & Makeup
As Amanda and her crew from Southern Sirens finishes hair and make up, we like to grab the bridesmaids to have a little fun with the dress. Those ladies have a much more stressful morning than the guys so we give them a little more attention.
Savannah & I began our respective assignments. She stays with the ladies and I go find the groom and his boys. The men can pretty much get ready in about 7 minutes – if they are really slow. This provides time for shenanigans. This is also the time the mother of the groom gets a few minutes with her son.
Dress, Flowers & Rings
Meanwhile back in the bridal preparation room, the dress, flowers & rings need to be photographed. We find unique areas for these artifacts. Melissa Timm always provides stunning floral arrangements.
I took the groom and groomsmen out for their photos. Somewhere along the way the cutest ring bearers and flower girls showed up and stole the show! We love when the groomsmen are lighthearted and playful.
Dress Reveal with Dad
Cassidy got into her gown. She wanted a dress reveal with her father. This moment did not disappoint. Mr Webster could not hold back his tears. Neither could Cassidy. We always recommend a quite, tender moment with the bride and her father. It’s a real calming moment.
Once we got the tears wiped away, we then took the bridesmaids and brides out to shoot their photos. I’ll let the images speak for themselves. Stunning, beautiful, full of love all come to mind. And these girls all have tons of love and respect for one another. And it shows. And they were all ready to be creative to get a killer shot of the bride with them.
